BUSINESS CONTEXT:



The incumbent will assist the Business Development Manager to execute end to end (E2E) management of various business initiatives:


The purpose of the role is to



Liaise with existing Distributors for the assigned brands in Australia & New Zealand


Execution and monitor activities plans and overseeing their execution in country.


Be the eyes and ears on the ground to monitor competition activity and create and execute mitigation plans


Ensure the Sales and Ops Management processes are followed by the distributor on time in full




Assist on the execution of the E2E Internal administrative UI processes including Marketing, Supply Chain (SC), and Finance




Main Accountabilities:




Distributor management



Coordinate the process of Joint Business Plannings (JBPs) and Sales and Marketing execution plan across internal (Unilever) and Distributor teams


Understand Consumers, Customers and Channels in Australia & New Zealand


Oversee Distributor execution of the agreed plans


Coordinate the training of the distributor teams to bridge capability / process gaps


Ensure full integration of Customer Marketing Plans with Brand Marketing Plans and Distributor Business Planning


Provide distributors input into Innovation program through insights on in-market competitor activities and pricing research.


Measure, track and report customer performance and ensure real time correction plans are put in place to ensure achievement of agreed Objectives.



Manage Internal UI Processes



Support Business Development Manager in business processes


Monitors implementation and adherence to UI Processes internally across functions and externally with the distributors


Monitors the performance of business partners


Communication: Shares actual performance of Business with the Internal Business Partners.





Sales Operations Management:






Execute and Monitor Perfect Stores in Key sales channels - execute and monitor planograming


Ensuring speed to market for New Product Distribution


Analysis New Outlet Sales Throughput


Ensure submission of Monthly Principal Report


Sales Report – Daily / Weekly / Monthly


Tracking of PO status – Casefill report / Backlog


Ensure timely accrual of all Trading Terms in the system


Ensure proper tracking of trading terms / promotion à budget vs actual


In-Market Activities Report & Competitor Data








Business Development Projects Management:






Support Business Development Manager in the Operationalization of the agreed initiatives


Ensure timely delivery as per project timeline.


Provide clear network update – on actual vs planned.


Lead coordination meetings of the Multi-Functional team for customer specific projects


Organize project meetings, prepare minutes and follow up actions. Escalate if critical milestones are likely to be missed.




RELEVANT EXPERIENCE

REQUIRED:






Minimum Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized institution


At least 5 years of business experience, preferably cross-functional


Experience in either Trade Category Management or Supply Chain or Field Sales


SAP FI, SD, MDM, Pricing and Rebate modules knowledge


Ability to operate on a cross-national scale and develop remote management skills


Ability to stick to the role as outlined and not to be dispersed by non-core local activities

MAIN JOB PURPOSE:



The Assistant Marketing Manager, based in Singapore, will play a key and strategic role in reaching our business agendas. This role will play a strategic role in opening up new white space markets for Unilever in assigned markets and develop the white space marketing expansion strategies for Unilever International. The role will also support the Customer Development (CD) teams to help seed brands into key channels.

BUSINESS CONTEXT AND MAIN PURPOSE OF JOB:



Driving cost efficiency and operational leverage is critical part of Unilever’s strategy. This allows Unilever to invest more in innovation and marketing, hence driving the virtuous cycle of growth.


This role business partners the cluster Manufacturing and Product Group teams in managing costs and cash. This includes performance management of manufacturing costs, capital expenditure and supporting strategic sourcing decisions within the cluster. Within the shorter term, the role works with Sourcing Unit (SU) controllers to ensure that production costs and savings are delivered through landing tactical / strategic actions agreed between cluster and local supply chain teams. MAIN ACCOUNTABILITIES:



Deliver Gross Margins for Southeast Asia & Australasia (SEAA)


Work with SU Controllers to deliver CPT and savings targets.

Annual Strategic Plan & Business Planning



Support long term Strategic planning through aligning plans to Industrial / Manufacturing Strategy.

Long Term Planning



Support long term sourcing decisions through sourcing/manufacturing studies.

Integrated Social Sustainability (iSoSu) Team is responsible for ensuring the
RSP is in place in our own facilities and Unilever’s extended supply chain and
determines the scope and scale of how we assess the implementation of the
RSP. The team is responsible for Human
Rights, including Labour and Land Rights, and the policies that Unilever
commits to in this regard, acting as subject matter experts. The iSoSu Team is
also geographically co-located with key Supply Chain and Procurement operations
to provide support on both RSP and Social Sustainability business practices.

Asst Social Accountability Manager in the iSoSu Team must have a passion for

MAIN JOB PURPOSE AND ACCOUNTABILITIES:



The
role in Singapore will support the Social Accountability Manager with the main
responsibilities of:

Supplier Qualification System (USQS) Helpdesk team Management:

Leads
weekly meetings with USQS helpdesk Team where performance against KPIs are
discussed and also asks questions, doubts, raises issues being faced by
Procurement Managers while using USQS and agree on corrective actions to close
gaps (e.g. training sessions, development of new tools, etc). Prepares and
publish monthly dashboards on supplier registration status, coordinate with
USQS Helpdesk team to incorporate the changes requested by Procurement
managers.



Process
Improvement and Data Integrity Management:

Working closely with USQS Helpdesk team to
identify areas for process improvement and elimination of unnecessary steps in
the USQS processes. Lead identification and closure of key data integrity
improvement projects with USQS Helpdesk team.



Reports:

Build up monthly Dashboards and compliance reports for Asia.


Managing day to day inquiries
provides training, guidance, recommendations and support to all internal
stakeholders for all inquiries pertaining to USQS. Proactively supports
colleagues to clear their doubts on USQS so to be able to guide supplier in
becoming fully compliant.



User
Guides and FAQ's:

Design of user guides and FAQ's for
Procurement managers and suppliers to give them clarity on various tasks
performed by them in USQS.








KEY REQUIREMENTS






ESSENTIAL




Experience in Sustainability or
Responsible Sourcing Compliance programs and Corporate Social Responsibility,
preferably for large organizations.


Good knowledge and
understanding of human rights issues including UN Guiding Principles on Business
and Human Rights and International ILO conventions.


Excellent time management,
analytical and organisational skills. Able to manage different projects
