We’re looking for a leader with a passion for consumer experience innovation. The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker who can identify and develop whitespaces. This individual will use his or her product management experience and international experience to drive execution of new-to-market consumer products. This role focuses on innovation and new product development Planning for Unilever International Americas, focusing on the north American region launching personal care, home care and foods products. The Assistant Innovation Planning Manager will help develop the ways of working and capabilities for both UAPL and UASCC transactions.

Who You Are & What You’ll Do

This Assistant Manager will be responsible for managing key stakeholders across the business and across all work levels. He/She will work closely with the Central Singapore Innovation Team as well as the respective Unilever International Hubs. He/She will work closely with the North America Business Development Managers and Marketing Teams to deliver the NPD plan. Once launched, He/She will seamlessly hand over the business to the Customer Service and Demand/Supply Planning teams. This planner is to work with cluster Brand Development, R&D, and the cross functional innovation project teams (IPTs), managing Innovation and Renovation projects to and On Time In Full (OTIF) launch. This includes development and management of timelines with the combined project team for each project, as well as conflict resolution when issues that threaten OTIF delivery arise.

Manage North Asia SC execution as a receiving unit:

• Manage new item set up for items introduced to the North Asia cluster via UL International through coordination with MDM, Finance, local and strategic SC, Procurement, brand and CD.

o Comfortable navigating Unilever support systems to provide logistic information for UI clusters.

• Partner with cluster Brand Building and Customer Development to validate volumes and business case for new sourcing.

• Build and maintain innovation timeline with inputs from broader project team, holding cross-functional team members accountable for on-time delivery of their tasks to ensure key milestones are achieved OTIF

- Project Management: Lead and own design and development of solutions that bridge the gap between the planning business teams and technology.

- Technology Management: Work with global SAP technical experts (both within P&G & external suppliers) on understanding, analysis and applying the right solutions to the right problems.

- Service Management: Ensure that all services supplied back to P&G are delivered with quality and accuracy, continuously raising the bar on delivery standards.

- Have Undergraduate or Master Degree. Preferred disciplines include: Supply Chain Management, Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering

- At least 5 years experience in supply chain IT Applications (SAP APO/ECC/S4 HANA) space

- Experience in the following areas is helpful - Production Planning, Demand Planning, Material Planning, Distribution Planning,

- IT/SAP planner who has worked hands on in SAP portfolio Demand Planning, Supply Network Planning, material supply planning or distribution planning, looking to cutover to IT as a career or someone who has led SAP IT system upgrades.

Description

A Regional Planner plays a highly visible role. The Planner is a conductor within the Operations organization:

analysing consumer demand and supply production plans

coordinating new product launch

rationing/balancing supply during constraints

managing/positioning inventory forward in all markets

supporting all Sales actions with sufficient supply

A Planner will provide clear communication with numerous cross functional teams: WorldWide Supply/Demand Management in Cupertino, OEMs/Vendors, Product Launch Readiness, Route to Market (RTM) teams such as Reseller Operations and Retail Fulfilment Operations, Logistics, Finance, Sales and Senior Management.

A Demand Planner will use trend analysis and other forecasting techniques to generate a demand forecast for all routes to market: Apple owned stores (Online and Retail), Online stores, and Resellers. The Planner will then use this forecast to derive the most optimal inventory allocation plan and execution according to the plan.

The Supply Planner works with his/her demand counterpart to derive optimal supply and production plan on both short and long term. You will do this while ensuring execution of the plan with WW SDM, OEMs and Vendors.

Both Supply and Demand Planners will have to work cross functionally and provide timely updates to Management. By controlling inventory and allocation, Planners have a direct influence over the performance of Apple business both top and bottom line for their assigned products within the Pacific region.

Key Deliverables:

Provide accurate and timely supply, demand, and inventory position plans to routes to market (RTM) and other teams.

Handle operational issues associated with supply or demand volatility including - but not limited to - supply constraints, production or transportation issues, compliance issues or rework, unexpected demand swings or market regulatory changes.

Provide accurate reporting to WW SDM and Executive team.

Drive, support and participate in SDM projects -both regional and global- and provide inputs on process improvements.

Education & Experience

Bachelor Degree (or higher) holder with preferably around 2-4 years of work experience in an analytical role. Preferred background in a high tech or FMCG industry with supply chain management experience. MBA is a plus
