We govern the use of data across the Group and provide guidance for data management and usage. Big Data Analytics
We are a centralised analytics function that supports Group-wide business units and their analytical needs. Job ResponsibilitiesThe role, as part of the Enterprise Data Governance & Quality (EDGQ) function, supports the vision, strategy and objectives set for data governance and data quality across the Group, in line with the Bank`s business strategy and objectives. The role involves working closely with business and support units in raising awareness as well as driving the adoption of data governance and quality best practices. Your main responsibilities are to:
•    Actively support the UOB Group-wide Data Governance strategy and drive the adoption of the data governance framework and policy, incorporating best practices and industry standards across different jurisdictions where the Bank operates. The framework should ensure that the data assets across the Bank are clearly defined, owned, stewarded, distributed and consumed in accordance with the Bank’s data governance policy, principles and standards 
•    Develop and maintain the data governance framework, policies, processes and best practices to ensure that they are relevant and consistent in line with the Bank’s strategies and objectives
•    Develop data quality best practices, spanning key business processes and drive the adoption of advanced data quality routines as part of data management checks and controls
•    Develop detailed data standards incorporating industry best practices across Reference data, Master data and Metadata. Drive the adoption of the data standards across various divisions and functions
•    Investigate on data incidents and assess the risk of non-compliance to the UOB Data Governance policy and associated data standards. Conduct root cause analysis and work with technology and functional units to put in remedial actions
•    Develop cross-functional business process and data flows to address as part of data quality improvement initiatives
•    Promote and drive education of Data Governance disciplines and objectives across the Group. Develop and conduct training and associated communication rollouts for the data governance initiatives
•    Be an agent of change and inculcate data governance culture and discipline in front-line processes
 
Job Requirements•    Degree in Information Technology, Business Computing, Data Analytics or related disciplines with at least 5-7 years of working experience in the banking industry, or consulting industry with strong exposure to Financial Services
•    Extensive knowledge and understanding of Data Governance and Data Quality, especially on financial industry best practices and across the regulatory landscape
•    Strong understanding of data management and related disciplines, such as data architecture, data quality and metadata
•    Good experience in working with data governance tools and technologies, such as across Data Quality, Data Catalogs, Glossaries, Data Lineage, etc.

Job Requirements

Min degree holders with at least 5 years of experience in the same field as preferred.
Knowledge of Global Master Data Management policies and processes to ensure that transactions are properly reviewed, authorized, recorded, and executed.
Knowledge in Supply Chain Management & Logistics area are preferable.
Knowledge of SAP R/3 (e.g. MM, SD, PP, WM, QM, etc) for compliance and audits, Excellent in IT Skills (Microsoft).
Excellent communication, follow-up skills & demonstrate superior team player
Prior experience managing projects to ensure successful delivery (on time, key performance indicators achieved) by establishing clear goals and accountabilities; developing project plans; and develop contingency plans.

The Salesforce Technical Architect is responsible for translating business requirements into technical solutions and overseeing the development of final deliverables. Provides technical leadership to perform evaluations and feasibility reviews of concepts and technology solutions. Leads the development team (may include FTEs, onshore/nearshore/remote/offshore consultants) responsible for developing quality code using patterns & best practices, organizes and leads a team through design and implementation on time and budget, guides and mentors developers.

Responsibilities:

Work with the Salesforce Solution Architect to document application architecture, designs and configurations, including as-is and future state with a clear path to transition to modern SaaS based technology stacks.

Recommend systems solutions by comparing advantages and disadvantages of custom development and purchase alternatives.

Oversee scoping, identification of project deliverables, and creation of project specific documentation such as functional specifications, technical specifications, etc.

Determine and provide a necessary level of technical documentation during requirements gathering.

Communicate the technical dependencies to concerned teams and then establishing a coordination process for optimal implementation of the individual components of Salesforce projects.

Co-ordinate with customers, product vendors and our other IT partners to ensure a successful implementation.

Drive full-stack hands-on development across multiple technology stacks.

Conduct code reviews to ensure adherence to best practices and development standards.

Lead troubleshooting of any production issues related to applications including but not limited to Salesforce, micro-services, and infrastructure/DevOps.

Requirements:

Experience in developing high-level architecture design of current and future state solution based on business requirements and value propositions.

Hands-on experience and expertise leading teams in developing custom solutions on the Salesforce platform (at least 3 full lifecycle Salesforce implementations), including declarative development, custom code, integrations, and data migration.

Strong understanding of SDLC, Continuous Integration, and Source Control patterns, including an intimate knowledge of Salesforce metadata migration.

Holds one or more of the following Salesforce certifications: Certified Platform Developer (required), Certified Application Architect (preferred), Certified System Architect (preferred), Certified Technical Architect (preferred).

Experience or in-depth knowledge of Salesforce development such as Apex, Visual Force, and Lightning.

Experience in leading fast-pace development team in Agile/Scrum environment.

Experience in crafting and developing integrations from Force.com to upstream and downstream applications using Force.com APIs.

In-depth understanding of master data management in Force.com.

Experience and comfort working on small teams and across multiple projects concurrently.

Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.

Minimum of 10+ years of IT development experience.

Minimum of 5 + years technology delivery experience working with clients across cloud transformation (across SaaS platforms) with a focus on the Salesforce.com environment and related PaaS and SaaS technologies.

Minimum 5 + years professional services or 8 years industry experience in agile delivery of integration services.
