Job Responsibilities
Lead and manage Processing and Warehouse and Workshop
Perform stock analysis, ensure availability of stock and maintain processing productivity.
Ensure security, fire safety/emergency procedures are maintained in the Processing and Warehouse compound
To perform Logistic Management taking into consideration of operational requirements including oversight of work schedule and work assignment
Facilitate the implementation of policies and procedures, including periodic internal audits on procedures
Preparation of annual budgets from centre, ensure effectiveness in deployment of resources and to manage all operating costs within approved guidelines and budget.
To work closely with Human Resource in recruitment and selection process, Training, handling of staff grievances, in disciplinary matters and annual performance appraisal,etc

Working Hours
Under normal circumstances the hours of duty will be as follows:-
5.5 days week / 44 hours week

Monday to Saturday (1hr lunch and ½ tea breaks)
Flexibility in work arrangement is expected based on operation needs

Job Requirements
Candidate must possess at least minimum Diploma in Logistics and with Supply Chain Management. 5 year experience in management function in similar field
Able to attend to queries and complaints
Well groom with a courteous disposition
Required strong communication and IT skill, excellent organisational skill, good team player, highly self-motivated
Good leadership skill
Process a class 3 license is preferred

ResponsibilitiesYou will be part of the Animal Welfare team under the Community Animal Management Division of AVS which safeguards animal welfare, and ensures public safety and health. The Division also works with the public and various stakeholders to foster community stewardship.You will look into feedback on animal related issues and investigate allegations of animal welfare offences, animal cruelty and animal-related offences, which threaten public health and safety (e.g. smuggling of animals). Investigation work includes, but is not limited to visiting the scene to gather evidence, recording statements, preparing investigation reports and recommending appropriate actions to be taken against offenders. You will also provide administrative support in the team, including preparing reports and statistics.
Requirements:

Diploma in Veterinary Technology/ Veterinary Bioscience or any other relevant discipline
Preferably with 1-2 years of experience in investigation and enforcement work
Familiarity with the administrative and enforcement procedures will be an advantage
Independent and able to work effectively with others in a team environment
Good understanding of animal welfare and health matters; as well as their impact on public health and safety or willingness to acquire such understanding.
Possess good interpersonal, written and communication skills
